This is the June 2001 S.F. Gay Men's Chorus concert in New York's Carnegie Hall. The Chorus first performed on the steps of San Francisco's City Hall Nov. 27, 1978, the night Supervisor Harvey Milk and Mayor George Moscone were assassinated. Their first formal concert was Dec. 20, 1978, and they've since performed all around the world. The Chorus had its 25th anniversary concert Nov. 17, 2003, and a Harvey Milk memorial concert on the steps of City Hall Thanksgiving Day, 2003. Their web address is www.sfgmc.org. |

This October '04 shot shows Does Your Mother Know in a new location on 18th Street, and The South China Cafe being renovated as a new sort of Asian restaurant under new management. The Woo family had operated the South China since 1963. |
Sit and Spin is a new laundromat on 18th Street that takes part fully in neighborhood activities. The dog out front looks so real people are always stopping to pet it.
