Why I Love the Cafe Flore

November 4

For the first time ever we had lines waiting to vote.

The line went around the corner and about a quarter of the way down the block.

Then I waited in line in front of the new Levi's store on Castro for tickets to the People's Premiere of Milk

Next it was off to the Museum of Modern Art with my old pal David, visiting from Hawaii. Perhaps you saw him in Old Folks Musical.

Here I am in the museum.

That night it was an Obama celebration on Castro Street.

November 7

A reception at Magnet on 18th Street for photographer Rink . L to r. artist David Falk (Mrs. Vera), Rink, photographer Michael Johnstone. See www.rinkfoto.com.

People's Premiere of Milk at the Castro November 10

In our group were Dr. John Newmeyer and Jake V.

Below is screenwriter Dustin Lance Black.

Here's a much better photo of Dustin Lance Black by photographer Bill Wilson, taken at the celebrity premiere at the end of October. Bill Wilson's site has lots of gay history photos at http://billwilsonphotos.com/index.html

The movie was tremendous! See it when it opens at the end of November. Check www.milkthemovie.com
